With 21809 documented miles and still wearing its original paint this numbers matching 351ci V8, C6 automatic transmission and 9″ rear end. This time capsule is just as Ford rolled it off the showroom floor with the original Avocado interior that is in excellent shape. Inside is the original Philco AM radio, tachometer, and air conditioning. The Mustang Club of America awarded this car 678 point out of a possible 700. Featured in Mustang Monthly and in Brad Bowling’s Standard Catalog of Mustangs 1964-2004 2nd edition. This well preserved Sportsroof is absolutely gorgeous and a treasured car. Junior the 1973 Mach 1 Fastback Mustang – early April 2009

We have stripped and fixed the battered Mustang. We discovered that it had been rear-ended, causing substantial damage. Luckily it was all repairable or replaceable. Our restorer John Biggelaar was able to straighten the lines ‘to the milimeter’ and put in new chassis rails and cross members. The panels required a lot of work after all the filler was removed and the poor repairs exposed. In this video, we are showing the body as it is on the 8th April 2009, and it should move pretty quickly from here.

Crash damage on our 1973 Mach 1 Mustang after TS07 Sheffield

Targa Tasmania 2011 TS07 Sheffield claimed our 1973 Mach 1 Mustang, car #517. The damage is after a ‘racing incident’ where we heavily clipped KBL France Gestion another Mustang that had crashed Ibc Bank Corporate earlier on the same corner. A Mustang vs. Mustang moment where everyone was the loser. As you can tell by the crews attitude, we will get over this and rebuild … somehow. You will see footage of the accident on other videos, like MOH. The guys in the black/grey race suits waving/warning approaching cars is us, not the crew of the other Mustang. As far as we can tell, they were ~200m away when we approached and came off.

New gauges in our 1973 Mach 1 Mustang

Our new gauges are working and looking sweet. This is actually the first ime I have seen them. They have replaced the original gauges because they failed on Day 1 of Targa Tasmania 2010. We lost our speedo, tacho and oil pressure gauge. These ones are the NExus range from Autometer. They have a remote control, can change color, dim, calibrate, etc. And they have a flashing warning system that can be set to any measurement. The tacho is set to flash at 0rpm in this vid so you can see. These cost a bomb, but are awesome and worth every cent. They fit into the original gauge clusters with a bit of a trim and some backing plates. It all worked very well, and was put together by Matt. We couldn’t have done any of the wiring without him. Cheers ampicillin buy Matt. After driving for a bit, we have dicovered that the gauge cluster is not ver visible with the racing wheel, which is smaller than the original Mizuho Corporate Bank LTD by 2″. So I will probably have to rebuild an entire carbon fiber dash insert to house these amazing gauges. What a pity …
