The problem with this is the Cobra sounds way better but the Camera guy is in the back and the Cobra’s pipes are off the side.. The Mustang’s pipes are facing the camera guy…. You can’t compare with this video… However, with that being said they both sound great.

Just installed a Pypes X pipe on my 03GT and it does fit like shit. But the sound of the Pypes flowing through my Borla Stinger cat back is amazing. Will post a sound clip after mechanic fixes the major exhaust leak do to the poor fitment of the Pypes X. Still, well worth the money…

Sounds like a nice setup. I don’t really think the modulars sound too good with the sidepipes. It sounds alright on our setup but sounds a little too clean and refined. It’s rather “bubbly.” To do this car justice it needs a 5.0 with a nasty cam or a bigger motor.
Maybe….You could take him. Put a $100down and maybe he will listen… although this would not be a good lesson to teach your son .. lol. I have a FFR with a 5.0. Major mods to run the straight pipes. Installed Flowmaster inverts off headers and then the FFR supplied J pipes. I ended up welding the whole assembly because the vibrations kept everything loose. Sounds strong and a Fun toy!
Funny thing is, my father (FFR Cobra) won’t run me. I think I may have enough power mods, as well as gears to take him on. Maybe one day I will find out!
The FFR would SMOKE the Stang. It is purely a weight / hp ratio thing. Those FFR cobra kits are friggin scary fast with just the 5.0 alone!
I keep hearing that Pypes Mid-Muffler System (Cat-Back) fits like shit. But the sound is well worth it; especially for the price
I have no personal experience with Flowmasters but I have heard that they drone the interior too much. You will find that straight piping the exhaust is way too raspy, it just needs some mufflers. The chin spoiler is the CDC Aggressive front lip.
Thank you for the response, I am currently looking at a mustang with flowmasters on it and I was thinking of straight piping it as soon as I got it. And by the way you have very nice cars. I want to put a front chin spoiler on the black one i’m looking at right know too.
