Two things may be your issue – the 2010 Ford Mustang GT has a fuel door that is spring loaded. You need to push in on the door itself and it will spring open slightly. Second, it is outfitted with a capless fuel filler. You simply need to put the fuel pump nozzle in the normal fuel fill area and pump gas as usual.
