Do I have to run Z series tires on my 2004 Mustang MACH 1?

Hi, Most of the Z series tires run over 200 bucks a piece. I really don’t run the MACH 1 super hard. Can I opt for a different series low profile tire, save some money and still get a good quality tire? What do you suggest? Thanks!
